TedX Delft Awards 2014

Went to the TEDx Delft awards yesterday and it was an inspiring event to say the least. I took the initiative to go on my own, everyone seemed to busy to care, as it seemed like a silly 7 euro opportunity to go to waste (free drinks after all). Sit down with a notebook and listen to people talk with a glass of pop Champagne in your hand, not a bad way to spend your Friday night. Cardboard Modelling Workshop

I recently took the initiative in a group discussion while discussing modelling & exploring our concepts for the solar cookers. The group was saying ”oh lets make scale models then of it to get an idea of size” and I piped up with “why not full size models ?” – a lesson learnt from first year with Alan Birch from making full size sketch models of a drum kit, guitars, stage lights, amps etc. in a team of 3 in less than a week. Update for Mid October to November 11th

Oké, so we’ve had lots going on these past couple of weeks (hence the gap in time). We’ve had exams, which as I previously stated, I am terrible at. But, we also had several of our modules conclude, presentations, as well as feedback on out progress. Solar Cooker With this project, we’ve had our first ever contact with our company Nigor.
